Gateway Science Academy is seeking a full-time teacher for the Special Education Department for elementary and secondary position. An applicant must hold a valid Missouri certification in the area, a clear background check, and a Bachelor’s Degree in the Special Education field.
Applicants should feel comfortable teaching in a college prep environment and must demonstrate confidence, flexibility, and student-focused abilities. Applicants should demonstrate the ability to teach at the elementary, middle or high school levels, must have strong knowledge and background in the special education process of IEPs and evaluations, and work collaboratively with staff, administrations, and parents.
