The Mission of our school is to provide a safe and enriching learning environment where the whole student is nurtured and developed. Our teachers and administrators pledge to support the academic and emotional wellbeing of each and every student. A Word from Our Board President

The purpose of the Gateway Science Academy (GSA) school board, as a nonprofit public charter

school board, is to serve as the school's independent, mission-driven guardian, ensuring it

delivers on its educational promises to students and the public while remaining fiscally and

operationally sound.

Principal's Perspective

Our mission at GSA-Smiley is to nurture productive, well-behaved students who will reach their full potential and become college-bound scholars. As part of the GSA college preparatory school system, our ultimate goal is to prepare every student for success in higher education and beyond.

Family Culture Night

Our school hosted its 1st Annual Family Culture Night, and it was an incredible celebration of diversity and community! Families and students came together to learn about 10 countries represented by our GSA families — Italy, Türkiye, Cameroon, Nigeria, Ireland, Germany, Vietnam, Iraq, Albania, and Kazakhstan.
